Developed by Bowler with Alcon in the UK, the Bowler big brake package offers great stopping performance, improved pedal feel and higher resistance to fade.

The system works perfectly with the standard ABS and traction systems on all Defenders (including 15MY) and utilises uprated 4 piston calipers all round, with bigger (334mm) discs at the front and the rear (297mm) of the car. Compatible with any Defender running disc brakes all round as standard.  In addition to the base Bowler parts our kit includes Braided SS flex lines for a Defender (please enquire for alternative parts if kit is to be used on Discovery or RRC)

Salisbury rear axle mounting brackets (not in kit) will need either replaced or machine work performed to correctly position the caliper and disc.

Kit compatible with any Bowler or standard Land Rover supplied alloy wheel - does not work with early riveted road wheels (does fit with wolf/nato steel wheels and later type road wheels)
